The Chapter sponsors at least one regional conference annually, usually in the spring. Each
conference is conceived as an event that will bring speakers of national prominence to New England,
will attract a diverse audience, and will be accessible to as many members as possible. Recent
conferences have covered an eclectic array of topics, including fund-raising, document delivery,
on-campus partnerships, the digital library, library space planning, and copyright and licensing.
Attendance averages about 200 people per conference.

Cost is part of accessibility; therefore the Chapter Board has kept registration fees very low by
subsidizing conferences when necessary.
