Get Involved in the ACRLNew England Chapter! |
Interested in participating in some professional work, either in
your area of expertise, or as a way to
gain experience in an
unknown area? Perhaps you have only a small amount of time to
give outside of
your job?
The Conference Committee and the various Special Interest Groups
(SIGS) may be just the answer for
you. ACRL/NEC presents
two conferences or programs per year, and there is always a
need for
helping hands both in large and small ways. The SIGS
offer one or more meetings/programs per year,
and likewise, need
varying amounts of help.

Group, please consult the
SIG web page. Contact either the Vice-President/President-Elect
or the
Chair of whichever SIG
interests you for further details.
ACRL New England Chapter is looking for a Communications Co-Coordinator ACRL New England Chapter has an opening for the position of Co-Chair of the Communications Committee. The main roles of this volunteer position are to publicize activities of the Chapter, and to serve as editor and producer of the Chapter electronic newsletter. Some experience with, or willingness to learn, Web 2.0 technologies will prove useful as this role goes forward. This is a Board position, and is renewable.
