Meet the New Board Members

I am happy to announce two new members of the ACRL/NEC Board.

Louise Buckley has accepted the responsibilities for the Constitution and
Bylaws. She has the experience needed for this position having served
as Member-at-Large from 1999 through 2001. Louise, a Reference Librarian at the University of New Hampshire's Dimond Library, takes over as a manual and bylaws revision has just been completed.

Carrie Bartels, an Access and Collection Services Consultant at NELINET, will serve as our new Membership Chair. Carrie has served on ACRL National Committees as well as State Library Committees in Indiana. She has experience with Access, the database on which our membership list is stored. NELINET's office in Southborough also serves as the ACRL/NEC official address so it will be good to have Carrie on the Board.

I want to thank Laurie Sabol, of Tufts, for the many years she served as
Membership Chair and Judy Montgomery for her work on the Constitution and Bylaws. Special thanks to Dawn Thistle who lead the Manual Revision Project.
