Access Services Interest Group Fall Program Leslie Inglis The Access Service Interest Group had a full house for our fall program, “Customer Service as if Your Library Depended on It,” featuring Pat Wagner, held at Holy Cross in Worcester. Pat’s program featured many practical and interesting tips on the importance of providing good customer service to library patrons, as well as working effectively with other library staff members. Opportunities for networking were available at the morning refreshments and again at lunch. Pat has a background in working with academic libraries and IHE’s. Her specialty is imparting her message with humor. The ASIG’s Spring Program will be our Third Annual Roundtable discussion held in two locations – the University of New Hampshire in the North and Trinity College in the South on Friday, March 31, 2006. If you have a topic to suggest or are interested in moderating at topic, please contact a committee member. |
