Women's Studies Interest Group Report

The Women's Studies Interest Group is planning a program on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, in Newport, Rhode Island. Evelyn Cherpak, the curator of the Naval Historical Collection, will be speaking on the College's collections of women's papers and the oral history project on World War II WAVES , women in the Sea Services, and Navy wives. This will be followed by a visit to the Newport Historical Society, 82 Touro Street, where librarian and curator Bert Lippincott will discuss their women's collections.

Details, including directions, registration, etc. will be posted as soon as they become available.
