The Information Technology Interest Group Presents

Applying Emerging Technologies in Libraries

Friday May 26th, 2000

9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (continental breakfast 9-9:30 a.m.)

The morning agenda includes:

· Terry Plum, University of Connecticut, "Gattaca, or Beyond Clifford Lynch: Authentication and Authorization in Libraries"

· Amanda Xu, EBSCO, "Metadata"

· Andrew White, Bates College, "Creating and Managing Web Services in the Small Academic Library"

After lunch, we'll feature concurrent discussion sessions on the presentation topics.

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited, so register early.
