Spring 2000 Program

The Business Librarians' Interest Group Spring 2000 Program will be
titled Starting a Business ­ Information Needs and Sources. It will be
held on Wednesday, May 24, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, in the Papitto Dining
Room at Bryant College in Smithfield, R.I. (Directions at
http://www.bryant.edu/campus /directions.html.) Speakers are Robert
Comerford, Professor of Management at the University of Rhode Island;
Doug Jobling, Program Manager for the R.I. Small Business Development
Center; and Colleen Anderson, Reference Librarian at Bryant College.
Registration is $5.00. To attend, please send a check for $5.00 made out
to ACRL/NEC to Julie Jersyk, 18 Wenham Road, Topsfield, MA 01983.
Include your name, address, institution, phone, fax, and e-mail address
and indicate whether or not you will need a receipt. Please register
before May 19. After the program, attendees will get together in the
Heritage Room at Bryant for lunch, "Dutch Treat." For more information,
