hosted by ACRL/NEC Information Technology Interest Group

Colleen Anderson
Bryant College

An Introduction to Cold Fusion was presented by Olga Verbeek of Salve Regina University, on December 1, 2000 at 11:00 AM. The presentation highlighted Cold Fusion as a product and what it can do for its users.

The presentation focussed on how Cold Fusion can be used within libraries, a brief introduction to the 'tag language' that is the backbone of the Cold Fusion product, how one would get started using Cold Fusion and a focus on various resources available to those looking to explore the product. A great example of how to display a portion of a library's serials titles, from an internal database, was reviewed and discussed.
