ITIG held five programs and meetings this year:
Two Business meetings were held to discuss program planning and to vote for new ITIG officers. They were held on June 13, 2008 at Salve Regina University and in August 2007 at Endicott College.

Date: Sept. 27, 2008
ITIG presented an early Fall meeting on ERM Systems, which was held at Keene State College, Keene, NH, on September 27, 2007. Approximately 30 people attended the program, which featured three speakers, Hope Tillman (Babson), who spoke on Serials Solutions ERM, Bob Sheier (Holy Cross), who spoke on the III ERM, and Jennifer Weintraub (Yale), who spoke on ExLibris' ERM. This was a half-day program.

Date: November 30, 2007
Working together with NELIG, ITIG presented a meeting/program for November 30, 2007, at Mount Wachusett Community College's Leominster campus on Library 2.0. This program featured a keynote by Elizabeth Thomsen, NOBLE, and breakout sessions with hands-on work with Library 2.0 applications. The program was well attended (approximately 45 people). This was a half-day program.

ITIG Steering Committee member, Bob Sheier, independently planned the program for ITIG and was instrumental in getting a large number of co-sponsors (corporate and organizational) for this program. Approximately 110 people registered for the program held at Holy Cross and 29 for the program at Dartmouth. Medical Library Association continuing education credits were available to those attending the program. Many thanks to Bob for his hard work on this program. These were two full-day programs.

Approximately 37 people attended this program which featured the following topics and speakers: Encore: A proprietary Library 2.0 catalog from Innovative Interfaces Inc.,Laura Kohl, Reference Librarian and Patricia Schultz,Technical Services Librarian at Bryant University; Open Source: What is available and what can you do to build your own Library 2.0 catalog,Timothy Spindler, User Services/Information Systems Librarian at Roger Williams University; and WorldCat Local: OCLC's latest catalog that goes beyond the social features of Web 2.0 and integrates the functionality of one-stop shopping for your library, Patrick Moriarty, Library Services Consultant at OCLC.
