Sterling Memorial Library and the Bass Library, 130 Wall Street
Tour Guide: Emily Horning, Librarian for Religious Studies and Coordinator of Research EducationThis tour will cover the two main libraries at Yale. The Sterling Memorial Library houses many of the university's rich research collections, while the Bass Library is an intensive use collection and learning commons.
At 4:00, there will be a lecture at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. In a lecture titled "The Use of Social Networking Tools in Educating Undergraduates," Michael Farina, an Italian professor, will talk about his use of new technologies and collaborative tools in the classroom and for assignments. There will be a reception from 5:00-6:30.
Yale has recommended the Broadway Parking lot for the June 3rd events.
