The 2026-2027 Membership Year is September 1 to August 31. 

There are two ways to join the Chapter.

2. REGISTER as an ACRL National Member of New England

• • • Eligibility Requirements apply for ACRL National Members seeking Free Chapter membership:

      • ​I am a member-in-good-standing with ACRL National.

      • I live, work or attend a school in New England.

      • I have a current personal membership with ACRL.

      • I am able to provide a valid ALA Personal Member ID Number for ACRL National Member of New England verification purposes.

    • Chapter Members receive reduced pricing for the annual conference and other regional conferences.

    • Attend the Annual Chapter Conference (Takes place annually each May or June.)

  • Scholarships & Awards

    • The Chapter offers professional development scholarships and a best paper award.​

• Membership pricing

  • ​ACRL National Member of New England (working/living/going to school in New England)  FREE

  • Librarian Member: $20.00

  • Paraprofessional: $10.00

  • Student: FREE

  • Retiree: $10.00

• Current Membership Term: Payments received during the active membership year guarantee membership through August 31 of that membership cycle.

• Upcoming Membership Term: Dues received during the registration period opening in mid-June will apply to the upcoming membership year starting September 1.

• Payment Method: Local Chapter membership dues are processed via credit or debit card through our Eventbrite Membership Registration process.
